- The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) once said, "My connection with the world is like that of a traveller resting for a while underneath the shade of a tree and then moving on." I tend to find myself living this quote. I treasure what I can most easily take with me on my travels- knowledge. I don't feel comfortable staying home for too long since I could be at so many other places. Therefore, I find myself at unexpected destinations most the time. I love the feeling of immersion in another culture. You figure out who you truly are and what you stand for. Give me a location and I'll be there in a heartbeat.

I am so envious. Egypt is one the top 10 places I want to visit before I die. Of course, my hubby thinks going to Egypt will result in said death, but I'm pretty sure he's a tad bit paranoid. :-)
